2–IN–1 PACKAGE: MEDICAL ASSISTANT & EKG
This package combines highly popular Medical Assistant (online) and EKG (online) courses into 1 package deal. Upon completion, students will receive not one but two different certificates of completion from all two courses. Students will be allowed to sit for the National Exams for all courses and receive National Certificates.
Requirements:
Students must be 18 years of older and have either a high school diploma or a GED certificate. Courses are taken separately. Students must start with a Medical Assistant course followed by EKG. Students may choose to take all two simultaneously or in the above-mentioned order.

COURSE DESCRIPTION & NATIONAL EXAM
AUMT Medical Assistant Program is designed to prepare a student to become a Medical Assistant with a short yet comprehensive course of study. This fast-track training prepares the student to sit for the Medical Assistant (CCMA) national certification exam offered through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) using a variety of classroom and externship training experiences.
Student must complete 200 hours of didactic training and pass the class with accumulative score of 75% or higher.
Students who passed the 200 hours of didactic training will be allowed to take the National Exam at AUMT.
Students will receive a voucher from AUMT to register online at www.nhanow.com to register for the exam.
TUITION POLICY
The program cost is the total charge to the student, which includes tuition, application fee, and course materials fees. The total charge of the program is due and payable on the first day of the class unless other arrangements have been made. By completing registration for a semester or session, students become financially responsible for payment of all applicable fees by the due date(s). Payments not received by the due date(s) are subject to collection, attorney, and litigation costs, which also become a financial obligation of the student.
Additionally, accounts must be current to maintain enrollment eligibility and to request and receive official school documents and services. A "returned check charge" of $25 is assessed for a check returned by the bank for any reason. Under California Civil Code #1719, a returned check may create a liability of treble (three times) the amount owed, but not less than $100.

GRADUATION
I understand that in order to qualify for a Certification, I must meet the following requirements:
1. Achieve a cumulative grade point average of 2.3 or higher (grade of C or higher)
2. Attend at least 100% of the scheduled lecture hours
3. Satisfy all financial obligations to the school
4. The student must satisfactorily demonstrate the knowledge and skills required by the occupation for which the training is intended
